GLOCAL takes its academic foundation from critical multicultural and multicultural theory, philosophy of tolerance and hermeneutic learning as well borrowing from schools of intercultural training such as Hofstede and Livermore. GLOCAL however focuses on applied intercultural learning through gamification and practical learning influenced and informed through GLOCAL's own steeped experience of living in diverse environments.
